Not to forget the rich austrian culinary - both hearty or sweet - and the traditional coffee specialties. . . This day tour also works perfectly with a visit of the Eagle's Nest, Hitlers summer home in the mountains, a boat trip at lake Koenigssee or a tour through the salt mine in Berchtesgaden. It's all up to you!
Thomas took is from Munich to Salzburg with 10 suitcases and he made it work! He made many stops along the way and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the history in Berchtesgaden, Eagles Nest and the Salt Mines.... I highly recommend you call on Thomas when in Salzburg or Munich!
Berchtesgaden and Salzburg all in a day from Munich ! We covered so much. Our guide was so informative and very accommodating! The scenery was breathtaking at the Eagle’s Nest and the town of Salzburg was so charming. You felt the old world and as if you were in the Sound of Music. Mozart’s birth place too. The foods were yummy. Try the chocolate!
Thomas is the best tour guide in Munich...period! This is our second tour with him. If you want a tour in the city or out of the city...look no further! I would suggest the Salzburg day tour...well worth the money! We would give 10 stars if we could.
This tour was outstanding, Thomas made some changes on the go and we enjoyed it very much. Thomas is very knowledgeable of the area and pointed out things that I had never seen before.

Thomas was wonderful. We had a very comfortable ride into Salzburg and he pointed out some spots from Sound of Music...and let us know a lot of the history of the area outside of what is in the tour books! He guided us thru some wonderful areas of downtown and gave us more history again! We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend him!!!

On a drive over the German "Autobahn", through the picturesque pre-alpine landscapes of Bavaria, I will give you an introduction to Salzburg and the Austro-Bavarian peculiarities.
