Munich Old Town Walk & Stencil Art Workshop

Explore the historic highlights and atmospheric streets of Munich’s Old Town before heading to Bahnwärter Thiel, a creative hub in the city’s south, for a hands-on stencil art workshop. We begin at Marienplatz and discover the Frauenkirche, Mariensäule, Alter Hof and its Ape Tower, National Theatre, Viscardigasse, Residenz and Theatine Church. Together, we’ll frame six iconic views that will inspire the creative part of our experience. Next, we take the subway to Bahnwärter Thiel, where shipping containers, murals and alternative culture create a striking contrast with the Old Town. This is where the spray-painting takes place: in my ventilated studio container or balcony - depending on the weather. With professional stencils, you’ll turn your favourite Munich moments into six spray-painted postcards. Take home your works of art as souvenirs, or send them to friends and family. No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get creative.

We’ll meet at the Fischbrunnen on the famous square Marienplatz. Hotel pick-up available upon request. Our route: 1. Marienplatz – The vibrant heart of Munich where it all began. 2. Frauenkirche – The city’s iconic cathedral, home to the legendary devil’s footprint. 3. Alter Hof – The city’s first royal residence — and a surprising King Kong connection. 4. Nationaltheater – One of the world's premier opera houses. 5. Residenz – The former royal palace and a source of good luck! 6. Viscardigasse – The street of the brave. 7.
