I am a guide for more than 20 years. If I can touch your senses, thinkings, feelings - if you say after a tour with me: "It was great", "You gave me aspects to think about", "I will not forget the tour with you", "It was astonishing", "It was a once in a lifetime experiences", "I never thought about that the way you showed it", it would be fulfilling, then I have done my task. I love to get to know people. All my life I've lived in an intercultural way. It is fasinating to get to no cultural differences and commons. The basis for this is to show my city, my country with their history, anecdotes, cultures, traditions, specialties. Our present developed from social, human, political, economical, cultural, religious processes and whats in between them. So as a historian I like to show the presnet mirrored by the past. But, having said that, you, my dear guests and guests, and your interests are the core. You want a great day in Munich, you wanna spent your time with history, culture, arts, religious heritage, local traditions and cuisine or similar aspects or maybe with a combination of the ones named here. If I can be of help for you with to have such an experience I would be honored. I worked as a tour, adult and youth exchange organisator and conductor for more than 20 years at the Dialog Institute, Zichron Yaacov, Israel. I have a Magister in history having studied general (mainly European) history and history of the Middle East at Haifa University. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Immerse yourself in over 800 years of Jewish history and culture in Augsburg – a city where traces of Jewish life remain vibrant to this day. The magnificent synagogue on Halderstraße, built between 1914 and 1917, stands as a unique testimony to Jewish architecture – it survived both the Night of the Burning Synagogues and the bombings of World War II. In the district of Kriegshaber, you can experience former Jewish rural life up close: visit the former house synagogue and take a stroll along historic Ulmer Straße. In Augsburg’s old town, you’ll also discover many buildings that once housed Jewish shops or residences. Our tour takes you on a fascinating journey through the history, culture, and present-day life of Augsburg’s Jewish community – lively, moving, and full of captivating insights.
