I consider myself to be a very passionate Guide and I have a wonderful rapport with my customers . As a Driver/Guide I am able to show you some of the most beautiful places and towns here in the Bavarian Alpine Region. Every tour is customized to your and your families special likes and needs. The Tours that I lead range from lovely mountain villages with charming castles to Innsbruck, Salzburg, up and down the Romantic Road, Passau and much more. I have lived in the beautiful State of Colorado for a long time and therefore in great command of English language and aware of American culture. Originally I am from the beautiful city of Vienna , Austria. In 2007 I returned to Europe thanks to my husband Kevin(also a certified guide on TBL), and now I love to show my guests this truly amazing and lovely part of the world . You will find me friendly, very flexible, punctual and very knowledgeable about European history with its many Kings, Castles and sometimes unfortunate hardships. Guests are also always appreciative of my 100 % commitment and people say I have a good sense of humor. I also love to have kids on my tours and I know how to rearrange the tours when children come along so there is also fun time for them. Happy kids, happy parents ! On this very special tour I will pick you and your group up at 9 am in our nice comfy Mercedes Van and we will drive towards the Alpine region and through some of the most beautiful countryside of the world, the Berchtesgadener Land - famous for its alpine peaks and Forrest Creeks. We will first visit the famous Kehlstein Mountain better known as the " Eagles Nest , Hitlers Tea House. Afterwards ample time for lunch and souvenirs in the little town of Berchtesgaden . Return to Hotel at 6:30 pm Please note the the Eagles Nest is closed from 31. October till about middle of May . Alternatively we visit the Documentation Center Berchtesgaden or the famous Salt mines
This is an excellent tour. Bridget is very accommodating to your special interests. For WW2 history bufffs it is an incredible reveal. Can’t recommend Bridget and her tour highly enough. It is a long day but it peaked our interest enough to explore a specific trip back to the area.
Ride the bright brass lift, bizarre as a funhouse ride, designed to quell Hitler’s claustrophobia. Gasp at the breathtaking view from his mountaintop lair. The splendid carrera marble fireplace? A gift from his vile minion Mussolini. Bridget will show you vintage photos of the guests- the cadaverous Goebbels, the grossly obese Goring, the architect of death Himmler. They reveled up here while millions died. Don’t miss this tour.
This was day 2 of our time with Bridget. She arrived at our hotel right on time and expertly drove us out of the city. She had our tickets in hand and we arrived right on schedule. We took the bus up, then rode the elevator up to the top, and explored the area. We had lunch at the restaurant and Bridget shared her knowledge of the area with us. After returning to the parking lot, she took us to Konigssee where we explored that area. She made sure we were well-taken care of and returned us to our hotel without problems. We highly recommend her.
This is a must do tour. The drive to Berchtesgaden was breathtaking and during the drive through the Bavarian countryside Bridget pointed out the history of the area and highlights, making the tour that much more interesting. She always made an effort to include our 2 grandsons in the conversations. We did the Salt Mine Tour in Berchtesgaden which our grandsons thought was "awesome!" Highly recommend especially if you have children or adventurous adults in your group!
Bridget was WONDERFUL. We booked months in advance for this tour, knowing Kehlsteinhaus normally opens in May. Due to unusual weather, it will open quite late. But she took us to the Documentation Center and bunkers, as well as into Berchtesgaden, Inzell, and Schönau am Königsee. She had several options for us to choose from, and we had an amazing time with her and her sidekick Leila. Perfect start to our trip, book with her!
Bridget picked us up promptly at our hotel on the morning of our planned tour of Berchtesgarden. She provided us with many historical facts about Bavaria during our beautiful drive to Berchtesgarden. She escorted us through our tour of the visitor's center at Berchtesgarden, and then, at our request, she provided us with a tour of Salzburg, Austria, which was absolutely fabulous! Bridget was courteous, friendly, and helpful in every respect during our tours with her. She does a great job!
