Wine and oyster tasting Arcachon bay : half day tour

After meeting you at your location in Bordeaux, we’ll start by heading to Gujan-Mestras, a charming town renowned for its oyster farms. Here, you’ll have the chance to taste freshly harvested oysters paired with a crisp local wine—an authentic taste of the region. After savoring the flavors, we’ll continue to the iconic Pilat Sand Dune, the tallest sand dune in Europe. Marvel at breathtaking views over the bay and the surrounding forests, and enjoy a small hike at his peak (don't worry, there is a staircase!). This unique excursion offers the perfect blend of gastronomy, nature, and adventure, all in just half a day!

Here is your program, which can me modified upon request : - After 1h/1h-15mn drive from Bordeaux, we arrive at our first stop : the picturesque town of Gujan Mestras, also known as the oyster capital of the Arcachon bay ! Taste some fine white wine and oysters (or pâté/shrimps upon request). I will share with you the secrets of oysters farming process, and other anecdotes about the bay! - After a short 20 mn drive, we arrive to the oustanding Pilat dune. - We will climb this 341 ft high sand dune to enjoy its breathtaking panorama; overlooking the Cap Ferret, the Arguin sandbank, the Arcachon bay and the beautiful Landes Forest. - We will then return to Bordeaux with our minds full of beautiful memories ! ( 1,5hour drive).
