Bordeaux walking Tour with native guide

A Wonderful Introduction to Bordeaux with Hubert This was our first visit to Bordeaux, and we were very fortunate to have Hubert as our guide. From the start, it was clear that he knew the city exceptionally well. His knowledge of Bordeaux’s history, architecture, and culture gave us a real appreciation for the city especially its beautiful old town and medieval streets. During the tour, Hubert took us to the city’s essential sights, including the cathedral, the Grosse Cloche, Porte Cailhau, Place de la Bourse, and the Miroir d’Eau. He shared plenty of interesting historical details along the way without ever making the tour feel like a lecture. It felt more like exploring the city with a very knowledgeable local who genuinely enjoyed sharing his hometown with us. We were amazed by how much we managed to see in such a short time. By the end of the tour, we felt that Hubert had given us an excellent overview of Bordeaux and helped us understand the history behind the beautiful places we were seeing. Hubert was also very patient and accommodating whenever we wanted to stop for photos (which happened quite often) as Bordeaux has so many lovely spots! He happily took pictures of us throughout the tour giving us some wonderful memories of our first visit. We really enjoyed our time with Hubert and would highly recommend him especially to anyone visiting Bordeaux for the first time. His tour was the perfect introduction to this amazing and beautiful city.

We had a wonderful tour of Bordeaux with Hubert. He was extremely knowledgeable about Bordeaux and even gave us a little history of Saint Emilion since we were going there the next day. He was very accommodating and also quite helpful in giving us recommendations for dinner. You will not go wrong with Hubert!

Hubert was wonderful. Incredibly knowledgeable of the city and its history as well as a history of France. Delightful company. Helped my wife fix her sunglasses after they had were run over by a truck by accident. Incredible. We definitely use will book Hubert again next time I visit Bordeaux.
