Charming Saint Emilion, the heart of the famous Bordeaux wine region

Hello, My name is Malgosia. Originally from Poland, having spent 9 years in the US (New York City) I ended up in the world wine capital some 15 years ago. When I graduated from a law school in my native country never had I thought I'd completely change my career paths and become a certified sommelier with a diploma obtained from the reputable CAFA wine school in Bordeaux. Together with my husband we work in the wine industry. I am also a former wine boutique owner which was located in the heart of Bordeaux, and presently run my company "Private Wine Tours Bordeaux" which organizes private, bespoke tours in the Bordeaux region to appellations like Médoc, Saint Emilion, Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Sauternes et. al. But that's not all: I will be happy to take you to Cognac or organize a trip to the Arcachon Bay with a picnic on the famous Pyla Dune. I love sharing my passion for wine and history and meeting travelers from all over the world. The fact that I come from a very different background and did not grow up surrounded by wines gives me a better understanding of my clients, who most of the time visit Bordeaux for the first time and have very little or no knowledge of this region. I always encourage them to ask me questions during their learning process. I often notice how they become less and less intimidated and more and more open to very interesting conversations. I am one of very few independent guides in the region who work with very small, thus intimate groups (only 2-4 ppl) driving my new SUV (the required transportation license as well as professional insurance up-to-date).
