Overview of your Bordeaux tour
This tour is created to provide you with this local experience for which we always look for when we travel. You will try the delicious specialties of Bordeaux through a beautiful gourmet walk. You will discover the history of the city and its most interesting monuments in a relaxing way having a coffee with local pastry when you wish. We will pass by traditional shops and stop every time you wish and of course I will show you the best chocolate shops of Bordeaux. To complete your local experience a French gourmet market is the place to feel all the vibrant colors and flavors of the city in ones. There you can enjoy a glass of Bordeaux wine with cheese, seafood and delicious food, the French way. This half day is going to be different each time based on your interests and tastes.
Your Bordeaux tour itinerary
We will start the tour with a walk in the city center of Bordeaux during which I can tell you about the city and show you some of the most interesting monuments and places around. (Place de la Bourse, Place Quinconce, Porte Cailhau, Grand Theater. . . ) We will accompany the stroll with some traditional pastries (cannele, choux) and we will stop and enjoy a cup of coffee on a terrace. We can take the tram and visit the French Food market where you can have lunch with a glass of wine and French cheese, charcuteries, oysters, etc. I will walk you through the market and I will be happy to help you in your choice as there are many stalls with tasty food prepared on site. If you prefer I could reserve a table in a tasty restaurant for lunch after the tour or before depending on you time schedule.
