Bonjour, I'm Mika 👋 Think of me as your friend in Bordeaux. I know which café makes the best canelé, which winemaker will open something special for you, and which little road through the vines is worth the detour. For 16 years I've been sharing this region with travelers from all over the world. I don't follow a script. Every visit is built around what you love. What we can do together 🍷 Saint-Émilion: a village carved in stone, where wine is a way of life. We'll taste it, and meet the people who make it. 🏛️ Bordeaux: Roman roots, golden façades, and a city that's very much alive today. 🚲 The vineyards by bike: hidden villages, quiet roads, and your own pace. How I work It's simple. You tell me what makes you happy, whether that's history, wine, food, or a long chat on a terrace. I take care of the rest. I'll share our local savoir-faire, and a bit of savoir-être too: the art of taking your time… A few things about me • 16+ years in tourism, 200+ tailor-made trips • Wine and cycling specialist • Master's in Tourism & Sustainable Development • French and Spanish (native), English (fluent) Good to know: I'm not a licensed guide for the inside of historic monuments. Outside them, I'll share the stories, the people and the love I have for this land. Come as a guest, leave as a friend. 🍇 — Mika, Monsieur Bacchus

Saint-Emilion is a charming medieval village located in the Bordeaux wine region. Its history dates back to the 8th century when a hermit named Émilion lived in the area and attracted a following of devoted disciples. Over time, a monastic community was established and the village grew around it. In the Middle Ages, Saint-Emilion became a renowned center for winemaking and viticulture, with its wines highly prized and sought after across Europe. During this time, the village also became a major pilgrimage site, attracting visitors from all over the world to visit the grave of Émilion and the monastic church dedicated to him. In 1999, the historic center of Saint-Emilion was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, in recognition of its unique and well-preserved cultural and architectural heritage. Known around the world for its bold, flavorful Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and of course, its rolling hills. It's a wonderful place to discover! Join me in this unique wine adventure!

Highly recommend Mika. Absolutely fantastic your. Mika was very communicative with our many requests to modify the tour. We had several pickup and drop off points because of our number of people and Mika had no problem with any of them. He was on time, a beautiful and clean van, and very knowledgeable of the area. Mika selected 2 beautiful wineries and a lunch spot. All three fantastic.
A fabulous day in Bordeaux wine country! Mika took us to 2 beautiful and contrasting family owned wineries in Saint Emilion along with a delicious lunch in the countryside and a walk through the historic and charming town of Saint Emilion. He shared his vast local knowledge and made for a very fun day!!
Mika did an absolutely incredible tour for us while we were visiting Bordeaux. Picked us up from our cruise ship and drove us to two outstanding wineries for tastings and lunch in a nice restaurant outside Saint-Emilion. My husband has difficulty walking long distances and he was so helpful assisting us with wheelchair which made the tour even more enjoyable for ourselves and our daughter and granddaughter. Would definitely use him again if we get to Bordeaux again! Cheers to Mika!
