Overview of your Bordeaux tour
Let’s discover together the wonders on Saint-Emilion vineyards! I will drive you to a family-run, organic wine estate. You'll visit the vat room and barrel cellar and learn how Saint-Emilion wines are made. The visit will conclude with a tasting of red wines from the winery. After the tasting and a short drive, we arrive to the village of Saint-Emilion. Follow me through its narrow medieval streets, to the upper village to discover the church, and cloister from the 12century. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the bell tower, overlooking the valley and its village. You'll also have the chance to taste the delicious Saint-Emilion macarons, with the original receipe dating back from the 1700!
Your Bordeaux tour itinerary
Here's the programm, which can be adapted upon request: - After a 50-minute drive, we arrive in Saint-Emilion village. - We'll stop at a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wine estate for a guided tour (approx. 1h15). Enjoy the view from the family-run estate vineyards, and learn about wine growing process. Visit the barell room, learn about the alcoholic fermentation and taste red wines from the estate. - After a short drive, we arrive to the village of Saint-Emilion, for a guided tour of this UNESCO world heritage medieval village (approx. 1hour). Enjoy the view from the 12th century bell tower, and visit the cloister and the church. - Enjoy also a tasting of local macarons! Please note that depending on the availability of the properties, the order of the visits may be reversed. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
