Let me show you in a day, some of the French most beautiful buildings and historic monuments in the city and some of the French most famous vineyards out of the city. Only in this way you can feel that you truly know Bordeaux. During our time together I will take you through unique squares and sites of Bordeaux some of them dating back to medieval times. I will tell you the history of the city nicknamed the 'Dark Capital' and also 'Sleeping Beauty', going through the most important periods from Eleonor of Aquitaine who married French and English Kings to World War II and the Nazi Occupation of the city. We will accompany the stroll with some traditional pastry and if you wish we can have a little coffee break on a terrace. After lunch, our driver will bring us to a famous Wine chateau of the Grave appellation located a 30 min. drive from the city. In a private visit you will discover its vat room and cellars and taste its delicious wines. I will customize the tour based on your interests and preferences.
Galia was absolutely fantastic!!! My wife and I had such a great day with her in Bordeaux and in Pessac Leognan. Galia was an absolutely delightful tour guide! She has a wealth of knowledge about Bordeaux, its history, and its wine-making industry. She took us on a wonderful walking tour of the city center, including the grand cathedral, and told us so many interesting facts about this beautiful place. After lunch, we were driven to a local winery for a tasting and tour. Most importantly, she took into account my requests and was always checking in to make sure I was doing ok throughout the day. We highly recommend Galia for your Bordeaux visit!

Galia was exceptional! We had been in Bordeaux for several days prior to her tour so I sent her our prior itinerary so she could review and show us places we haven't been. She did just that and customized the tour just for us! Also, unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well the day of our tour and she was so accommodating for me trying to find a place to sit, shade etc. She was very knowledgeable about the area and such a pleasure to spend the day with! We really enjoyed our private chateaux wine tasting!
Galia was a real dynamo and expert in all things Bordeaux. Our walking tour of the city of Bordeaux was a delightful and quite informative walk back into history. Galia is very knowledgeable and has a real talent for telling the stories of Bordeaux. We got not only an excellent overview of the historical sites and their significance but we also were treated to first hadn't experiences with the cheeses, pastries and chocolates of the city. The winery tour was also an exceptional experience.
