Over four hours, we'll explore some of the city's most iconic squares, streets, and neighborhoods, from the colonial surroundings of Plaza de Armas to the republican architecture of La Moneda and the lively cultural districts of Lastarria and Bellas Artes. Along the way, I'll share stories about Chile's history, politics, architecture, and everyday life, exploring how Santiago has evolved over time and what makes the city what it is today. We'll start in Lastarria, one of Santiago's most charming cultural neighborhoods, and make our way through Parque Forestal and Bellas Artes, exploring the city's architecture, street life and artistic heritage. From there, we'll wander through the historic downtown, passing along lively streets and quieter corners before reaching Plaza de Armas, the heart of colonial Santiago. We'll explore the surrounding landmarks, including the Cathedral, and continue toward the former National Congress and Supreme Court. Our walk will take us to La Moneda, Chile's Presidential Palace, where we'll discuss some of the defining moments in the country's political history. Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, enjoy a coffee or simply observe everyday life in Santiago. The route is flexible, and we'll adjust the pace and stops according to your interests.
