Hello dear Friends I am Víctor. I am a tour guide, travel agent, therapist, accountant, event manager, historian, conflict resolution manager, tax and currency expert and professional story teller. But overall, a confident friend on a very beautiful country called Chile. I have worked as a tour guide for 15 years. I took up this work as a career because I feel that one should work in a capacity where one enjoys work. And the fact that I love and enjoy my work immensely can be shown in the way I lead tours. I'd love to show you this piece of the paradise located in the south of the world. I always try to make my tours as an unique experience not only for the quality and quantity of knowledge the visitor can get, but also for the way I try to do it: be flexible to the rhythm of the person or occasion; try to follow the seasons, suggesting the correct things to do at the right moment. Always is possible to change or add an extra detail. I try hard to make tailor made experiences There are many things to do in the heart of Chile. I'm sure you don't be disappointed when I share with you all the beautiful places that this green part of the world can offers to you. I will really enjoy to take you to all the places that surely will surprise you, the same way it happened to me. I've been working as tour guide from 15 years. I'm enrolled in Chilean Tourism Service from the year 2015 None

Santiago is full of interesting places! Let's discover together the secrets of the city of Santiago.
Victor was an excellent guide, punctual, knowledgeable, and a great person to spend time with!
Victor has set a high bar for your in Santiago and With Tours by Locals. What wonderful experience and an exceptional insiders look at Victor’s city. His experience as a former teacher and his passion for his city made for a memorable trip
We had a fantastic time with Victor. He knows the city really well and shared great information. The van was driven by a very kind lady, which is something I liked, because the traffic in Santiago can get really hectic. It's good to have the guide just focused on talking and not also on driving. I highly recommend Victor.
Victor was broadly knowledgeable about many topics. Unfortunately, because it was a Sunday things were closed. The tour was a bit slow. All in all it was about what we expected, and it was nice to have transportation and pick up and drop off at our hotel.
What a great tour of Santiago! Victor took us everywhere we wanted to go and then added all the interesting places he wanted to make sure we saw. Cerro San Cristobal afforded us wonderful views of the city and nearby neighborhoods and the stroll through Bellas Artes was magnificent. Viktor's orienting half day tour prepared us for exploring more on our own and he was kind enough to provide us with some suggestions for our self-tour the following day.
Victor was an amazing guide and person to hang with for a few hours. We were coming into Valparaiso on a ship and had 6 hours to explore before we needed to be at the airport. Setting something up with Victor off Tours by Locals was easy. Victor and I messaged back and forth and came up with a plan. When we disembarked from the ship there Victor was. He had arranged a driver so there would be someone with our bags when we explored. We loved learning and walking around Valparaiso. Victor took us to a great seaside restaurant for lunch. We got to ride in 3 different Funiculars and do a little shopping. He was there to help us navigate the shopping. Then he took us to a wonderful beautiful winery. It really was the perfect way to spend our time before flying out of Chile and Victor made that happen.
We'll kick off at Plaza de Armas, the historic heart of the city. We’ll check out the Metropolitan Cathedral and Central Post Office, and just soak in the lively atmosphere of the square Next, we’ll head to La Moneda, the presidential palace. It’s an iconic building, and we might catch the changing of the guard ceremony. After that, we’ll stroll through Bellavista, a colorful and artsy neighborhood known for its street murals, cafes, and quirky shops. We visit a hill for some amazing panoramic views of the city and the Andes. At the end you will see the upscale neighborhood of Vitacura, where you’ll find high-end shopping centers, gourmet restaurants, and sleek modern architecture. Stroll through the area’s elegant streets and experience Santiago’s contemporary side, offering a perfect contrast to the city’s historic charm.
