Santiago de Chile Foodie Walking Tour through Highlights & Hidden Gems

We've booked food tours with Tours by Locals in lots of cities and this one was one of our favorites. Pablo was friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of us the whole time. He was funny and engaging and introduced us to many of his friends in the market as we toured and sample lots of tasty things. I think we sampled something like 13/14 Chilean specialties! Pablo was very professional and even provided hand sanitizer and napkins (and he had gloves and a sharp knife to cut things when needed). It was a lot of fun and we learned about Chilean culture as well. We booked an 11am tour and it ended around 2:30pm - the perfect lunchtime activity!

We have done many food and cultural tours during our travels, and this tour by Pablo was one of the very best! He took such good care of everyone in the group, explaining our route, the foods, and the history. He has such great energy and enthusiasm that adds to everyone having a super fun time! Pablo was the best guide and we had so much fun! First, he was able to accommodate our group of eight people for the tour. Meet up was easy, he kept all of us together, super prepared. We saw the markets, which were much more fun with a local who could show us truly Chilean foods and fruits, while interacting with locals along the way. He was also extra attentive to our 10-year-old, which was delightful. Pablo took all the photos as we toured, so we could relax and enjoy, then shared them all with us promptly.
