Andrés gave us a lovely overview of the city of Santiago. We learned about its history, and saw the main sights. The importance of architecture in the city stems from the earthquakes, and the design and construction of buildings are particularly interesting. Andrés was a charming companion and very helpful with all our questions.
Good tour. Nice to have a ride into Santiago after disembarking at the port. We got to see some of Santiago before going to our hotel.
If you are planning to go to Santiago and want to have an interesting, knowledgeable and a great all around tour Andrés is your guide! You will also find yourself laughing along the way! We had a private tour and both he and his driver, Julio, were true professionals. The tour was also structured around things we wanted to do or see and he altered to our request. If I find myself in Santiago again you bet I’ll be contacting Andrés!
We had a wonderful 5 hour tour of Santiago with Andres. He was knowledgeable, his English was quite good and he showed us some wonderful sights of the city. I would recommend him for anyone looking to spend some time exploring this lovely city!
Andres and Hugo were both wonderful guides to the city. Andres is very knowledgeable and has great insights and tidbits about Santiago. We were able to see a lot of Santiago in a short time with Hugo driving and Andres itinerary. Of course the “icing on the cake” were the best empanadas in Santiago.
Guide Francisco and Driver Julio did an excellent job of providing a half day tour of Santiago. The insights into everyday life and the historical aspects of the city were great. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you.
