The Coastline is located 1 1/2 hours from Santiago, on the route we will discover the agricultural area of this región, where you will learn about tipical food and drinks of Chile. Along the road we will see the wine district le Casablanca, known for its Sauvignon Blanc. We continuing driving until we get to Valparaíso an old port with charming neighbourhood, declared "World Heritage Site" by Unesco in 2003, city of old trolley buses, Funicular with more than 100 years old. It's a neighbourhood where you can see the influence of italiano, german, british and french inmigrantes. Mix of arquitecture and colours that you will enjoy. A great picture taken opportunity. Valparaiso is hard to describe you just need to have the experience. Walking through the hills is my best reccommendation to discover the little corners, stairs going no where, artistic murals After Valparaíso we continue to Viña del Mar called the " Garden city" so close to Valparaíso but totally diferent, modern and attractive city.
- Meeting at the lobby of your accommodation (not near the airport) - Take the highway to Valparaiso passing through agricultural valleys and wine district. - Sightseeing Valparaiso and Viña del Mar ( if you are able to walk my suggestion is walking on the hills in Valparaiso) Places to see in Valparaiso: Alegre and Concepción hill ( walking would be my suggestion) Sotomayor and Victoria square, congress of Chile, Valparaiso Port, Head Quater of the Navy, Public library and more.
