Santiago Unveiled: Private Full-Day City Tour

My family of four had an incredible experience of both Santiago and the nearby coast with Roberto on two separate tours (Santiago Unveiled and Valparaíso & Viña Del Mar). First off, Roberto & our driver Richard were punctual and dependable, waiting at the door of our Airbnb before we stepped out each morning. Roberto's charm and caring, upbeat personality made us feel like family, and we were so grateful to have scheduled a second day of tours with him. To give perspective, we're a family of somewhat-introverted engineers, but sharing our lunches with Roberto felt like catching up with an old friend. Since we were at the end of a three week trip, all of us were wiped out (and fighting a cold), but Roberto's enthusiasm and understanding of our pace helped us rally for the last few days. He took so many great family photos of us around Valparaíso and at the top of the Gran Torre Costanera with the arrebol — the reddish tint of the clouds at sunset. We feel so blessed to be guided through Santiago by Roberto and hope to do another tour with him (maybe Patagonia!) if we return to Chile.

Roberto was excellent. We had 6 hours between flight to tour Santiago and had selected three places we definitely wanted to visit. We visited all three of them and made several stops between to see other significant sites. Roberto was knowledgeable about the history of the country, its politics and its people. We are glad we made the opportunity to tour during this layover.

Roberto showed is a wonderful cross section of Santiago. We felt like we really got to know and appreciate Santiago and its culture, food and people. He was energetic and enthusiastic. We had had a great day with him!

Roberto is a personable guide that led us in lively conversation about the places we visited in Santiago. From this conversation we obtained a taste of the Chilean culture especially in the Market which is a must see. He also engaged us in the diversity of neighborhoods in Santiago and all they have to offer. If you are planning to visit Santiago, I recommend that you engage Roberto's services without reservation. Roberto is the best!

Roberto and Richard were great for us. We had seen some of the major sites and wanted to see colorful neighborhoods and experience Chilean specialty foods. They delivered on all counts. Roberto was so knowledgeable about everything we asked. He made our tour the perfect combination of walking and driving to fit our comfort level.
