We will visit the city of Santiago, which is located in the Maipo Valley, between 2 mountains, the coastal mountain range and the Andes mountain range, where in autumn and winter it is wonderfully snow-capped, and where the city of Santiago emerges full of contrasts with different architectural styles, where it has become a modern city of more than 6 million inhabitants, which concentrates much of the cultural, economic, industrial and commercial activity of the country. It is also an eclectic city, with old and modern neighborhoods, such as the new financial district, in general the city of Santiago has 3 great characteristics, several hills islands, many parks and squares and is a city of contrasts, an old building next to a modern one. Within the Maipo Valley, it has a favorable land for the cultivation of grapes that produce wine.

Great tour with Gabriel . Very knowledgeable of Santiago, was on time (or earlier), Nice modern car - good for four people. Gabriel was very clear in english conversation and was helpful with any question. Thanks, Judy
I want to give a shout out to Gabriel that we booked our Santiago tour with in February. He was prompt on pickup at the time and place agreed upon, courteous and so easy to have engaging conversations with. Part of the positive is his English accent is well understood and comprehendible and his insightful comprehensive knowledge on plants and fauna and the history of Santiago. He could name every tree, shrub and flowers we pointed out and the history about that plant If there was one. He took us to all the highlights that were mentioned in his summary prior to selecting his tour and a thorough explanation of each site visited. He provided us with water and ensured that we were comfortable in his vehicle. He allowed us ample time at each stop and wherever we needed to stop to enjoy a site better. I will not hesitate to book with him if the near future brings us back. Thank you for being so professional in this field, Gabriel. Wishing you the best to your future!
Gabriel was very enthusiastic about his city. Spoke pretty good English. Only had to clarify a few times. He knew a lot about the city and took us to some cool places. He was very conscious about our safety and that of our belongings. Unfortunately we were not able to try some local food as we had to get to the airport.
Gabriel was fantastic! He is extremely knowledgeable about the people and history of both Santiago in particular and Chile in general. Gabriel knows the architectural styles of historical buildings and is also an expert on horticulture, indentifying plants and trees and their points of origin. We both walked (after Gabriel confirmed we were comfortable with doing some walking) and drove to see key sites. Note that Gabriel is a very good driver and has a new, spacious and comfortable van. Gabriel provided bottled water and checked with us frequently to be sure we were comfortable. He made it clear that he was very flexible, whether it was something we wanted to see or to stop for a snack. We highly recommend Gabriel and would certainly book with him if we make it back to Santiago some day.
This 5 hr. tour was done mostly by auto. Fortunately Gabriel has a very comfortable vehicle with large windows for viewing. The walking part of the tour was in the downtown where all the government buildings and Cathedral are located. (The tour did not include a visit to Cenco Costanera, the tallest building in S.A.). Gabriel was very flexible and extremely conscious of our needs.
- Pick up at the hotel - Drive to the down town of the city to visit Constitution Square, the Government Palace, the Plaza de Armas, Santiago Cathedral, and buildings such as the Santiago Central Post Office, the National Historical Museum, and Santiago City Hall. We'll continue through the Lastarria neighborhood, then climb Santa Lucía Hill for a panoramic view of downtown Santiago. We'll then pass by the Museum of Fine Arts. There's an option to visit San Cristóbal Hill, 862 meters above the city.
