Your Salzburg tour itinerary
⊛ Your excursion will begin with pickup from your Salzburg hotel. Hop aboard your luxury Mercedes Minivan with A/C to begin your journey from Salzburg to Vienna. The first highlight is the castle of Fuschl with the emerald Lake Fuschl in the background. ⊛ Continue driving through the lake district passing the lakes Wolfgangsee and Attersee and further on scenic roads along or close the Danube River, on off-the-beaten-track roads to the world-renowned Melk Abbey founded in 1089 by Benedictine Monks. Feel free to visit the Abbey or just take pictures. ⊛ Next is the village Duernstein with the ruins of the Robin Hood Castle. Richard the Lionheart was kept in prison here. You will have 2 hours on your own to enjoy a local lunch and to explore the town center. With drop-off right in the old town which is for pedestrians only and a before-mentioned pick-up location, you will be able to maximize your valued travel time. ⊛ This 7-hour private tour will conclude with drop-off at your Vienna City hotel.
