The Original "The Hills are alive.." Tour

On this trip in the comfortable glass roof panorama van or limousine I pick you up in Salzburg and then make together with you a city round to the movie locations within the city. I will explain you the locations and show you the places where the film was made. Then we will go to the outskirts of the city of Salzburg to see two palaces used in the movie scenery and of course the gazebo. We'll chose to either go to the meadow where the opening scene was made, or the meadow of the Do-Re-Mi song, or if conditions allow both of them so you can sing like Julie Andrews. This allows me to show you the beautiful landscape, mountains and nature around the town (my favorite part). After a lunch at a typical regional restaurant (this can be also on a mountaintop) we'll drive to my favorite region the the lake district - the Salzkammergut and last but not least you we'll visit the village of Mondsee with the famous basilica where the wedding scene of the movie was taken before we return back to the city of Salzburg

If the weather conditions (such as heavy snow fall) do not permit to drive to the top of the mountain, we will have a lunch in the center of the city.
