Day Trip: Salzburg to Linderhof Palace, Oberammergau & Neuschwanstein Palace

Grüß Gott, I'm Peter. I grew up in eastern Austria and have lived in Salzburg for more than 30 years. This is where my wife and I raised our children, and it is still the place I love to show off. For many years I have driven guests privately around Salzburg and across Austria, Bavaria, Switzerland and northern Italy. That is my strength on a tour: I know the back roads, where to park right next to the sights, the quiet viewpoints, and the hours when the big coaches have already left. You sit back in a comfortable private vehicle and I take care of the rest. My favourite days out: - the Sound of Music places in and around Salzburg - the lakes of the Salzkammergut and the lakeside village of Hallstatt - Berchtesgaden and the Königssee, just across the border in Bavaria - King Ludwig's fairy-tale castles, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof - in November and December, the Advent markets in the lake villages Every tour is private, just your family or friends. I plan the day around you: your pace, your interests, a lunch stop where the locals eat, and pick-up at your hotel or the train station. I work with a small team of local guides and drivers, so if you want a certified city guide for the old town, a second vehicle for a bigger group, or an airport transfer on the same trip, we arrange it together.
