Welcome! I’m Cath, a proud Invernessian, born and bred in the Scottish Highlands. I’m a fully qualified, experienced tour guide and have been sharing the Highlands of Scotland with travellers since 2018. Based in Inverness, I grew up on a farm just along the road from Culloden Battlefield. Being raised in an area so deeply rooted in history provided the perfect foundation for my career in Adult Education and professional Tour Guiding. I’m passionate about sharing local history & folklore, and I take great pleasure in introducing visitors to our food and drink producers. As a member of the Scottish Tourist Guide Association, I offer more than just a tour — I provide a genuine connection to this place. My clan (née MacRae) has been rooted in the area since before the Battle of Culloden, with our clan seat at Eilean Donan Castle on the road to Skye.
