I am 8th generation Highlander and my Clan is MacBeth(The one made famous by Billy Shakespeare) I can driver/guide any tour that you wish to take, whether your golf enthusiasts who wish to visit St Andrews, to film locations for Outlander fans, to our world famous Isle of Skye, Harry Potters Bridge and not forgetting a wee bit of Nessie spotting in Loch Ness, I can take you there. My knowledge and stories will make the history come alive. I will meet you from your city accommodation, rural cottage or from your cruise ship tour from Edinburgh, Invergordon or Portree. During my tours we will travel in my Mercedes Benz V Class, 6 seater, as I believe that this is the ideal way for a more personal experience and greater access to beauty spots and its the perfect way for you to enjoy and experience our country with your unforgettable day. getting off the main roads and onto the back roads, experiencing the local history, the local life, the local legends and myths the local way. I have over 14yrs experience working as a tour guide, with in the very best of the Scottish countryside, from our spectacular mountain scenery, breathtaking glens and deep mysterious lochs, to our romantic and often bloodied history, culture, gorgeous flora and fauna. So it would be my pleasure if you would allow me to take you on your adventure, and, all you need to do is relax, sit back and enjoy your day your way. Ally was so fun! He knows the history of everywhere we visited thoroughly, as one would expect, but they way he delivered with so much animation it brought it alive and, where appropriate, with lots of humor, too.
