Hi, my name is Mario and I am an Azorean born local guide in Azores. Since the year 2000, I have been transmitting to my clients, the best experiences, traditions, history and culture of the Azorean Island of S Miguel. My goal is to make you feel one of us, getting to know our historical traditions, having gastronomic experiences, tasting the best of our local products, visiting the immense natural park that we are, bathing in our natural heated pools. All this, in relaxed and compelling private tours, friendly environment, as if you were with a group of friends just getting the best of your stay. What I do is what I love to do. And I do it passionately because I love my Island. I may say that I am fortunate to have the profession that I chose, which I believe is the key to be able to transmit and make my "Guests" feel at home and part of a community, enjoying every bit of their stay.

Andre was our excellent guide and a proud Azorean. Unfortunately, the morning was quite foggy, so a few of the viewpoints were skipped, but this gave us more time to enjoy the volcanic hot springs at the Terra Nostra Botanical Garden. Absolutely fantastic tour, my group enjoyed it so much. Mario was so good and made sure everyone was well looked after. Very knowledgeable and obviously loves what he does.
