Hello, my name is João, born and raised in Lisboa. I like to travel, I've been to many countries but Portugal is the one. After the crisis, in 2008/2010, I moved to tourism, in a way to become a guide. So I started from zero, and during these years, working for large companies, very hard, bring me the experience to become a host in my city or even in my country. After so many tours, I'm able to show you the knowledge of Portuguese history, culture, or gastronomy. I'm a family man, with two kids, a natural communicator, flexible, helpful, and pride of what I do. So come with me for an outstanding day, you can choose the tour that better suits or a tailored experience. I offer walking tours and I also provide tours with transportation included. Joao was our wonderful guide for our food tasting tour around Lisbon. He took us to unique and historical spots around Lisbon which were all delicious and included the best traditional foods of Lisbon. Joao was the best guide. I had told him I wasn't interested in museums and such, I wanted to know how the people lived. We did so much and saw so much. We went to a beach area, a factory where they still make decorative tiles by hand and so many other interesting places. You can not go wrong with Joao as your guide, He is very accomodating and knowledgeable of the area....
