Hi everybody out there !!! My name's Abel, I'm a professional native tour guide based in Lima. Peru. I've been working in the tourist industry for more than 16 years now. I consider that guiding visitors around Lima and its surroundings areas is not only my full-time job but my passion. I've been immersed in the fascinating world of history, archaeology and traditions since I was a child. And one of my aims is to keep our culture and identity alive for my coming generations . I must thank to my parents who were involved in education as high-school teachers, that transmitted me their knowledge and curiosity for exploring and investigating mor and more about my country. My dad was a History & Geography teacher, whereas my mom was a Spanish grammar teacher. I would be more than happy to have you guys as my guests during the days you decide to spend in Lima and the nearby areas so I can share with you my knowledge and passion about our history, culture, and lifestyle . I'm FLUENT in multiple languages including English ( I lived in NM, USA ) , French, Portuguese, Italian and German ( Ich habe mein Goethe Institut Zertifikat ) . I am LICENSED and AUTHORIZED to work as a tour guide by the Peruvian Ministry of Tourism ( MINCETUR ) which is our official national entity. I am mainly focused on doing tours in Lima and on the peruvian central and southern coast which means that I can also take you to places like Caral, the Nazca lines, the Paracas national reserve, the sand dunes and the oasis Huacachina in Ica, etc, just feel to ask me for a customized tour or I also invite you to have a look at my tour list and if there's anything you wanna add or modify, we can always work on it.
