Lima Walking Tour - Feel like a local

I had an outstanding experience with Jenni L on this walking tour in Lima. She was proactive from the start—reaching out via WhatsApp to arrange a clear meeting point and continuing to communicate to ensure everything went smoothly. What really set this tour apart was how thoughtfully the guide tailored the experience to my interests. I was especially interested in Lima’s colonial and religious art and architecture, and they made sure to incorporate the specific sites I wanted to see while adding valuable context along the way. Navigating Lima’s traffic can be a challenge, but the guide handled it masterfully by using public transportation to move efficiently across the city. It was far faster and more engaging than relying on Uber, and it added an authentic dimension to the experience. Throughout the tour, the guide was attentive and considerate—checking in regularly to see if I needed a break, food, or a restroom stop. The commentary was excellent as well, offering insightful perspectives on Lima’s history, politics, and social dynamics. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-organized, and engaging introduction to Lima.

Our tour with Marcos was fantastic - he was very knowledgeable about the food scene in Lima, the unique aspects of the industry in Peru, and the incredibly diverse varieties of fruit and vegetables. The tour itself was excellent - each establishment provided high quality offerings and the route covered a lot of Barranco which we enjoyed. I would strongly recommend the tour and Marcos as your guide.

Wow! Jenni was prompt, knowledgeable, constantly asking me what I wanted to do or if I needed to take a break. She took me all over the city and showed me so many magnificent sites. Jenni kept tying everything together historically and made a big deal of constantly talking about geography and looking at maps and realizing that Peru is enormous and diverse and wonderful. Her pride for her country and her love of its history, really shines through. She is a great guide and I would encourage you to have her take you around Lima. Be sure to tell her what you want, she was very accommodating to big requests, like going to see the university, and small ones, like taking me to the drugstore because I forgot to pack any make up! Smart, energetic and Knowledgable—book her!

Excellent guide around Lima, its sights and history. She made the day interesting and fun and help me understand the culture of Peru. Her English was excellent and she took care of all the details and activities for the day.
