Lima Full Day Private Tour : Miraflores, Barranco and the Historic Center of Lima

Had a great tour with Jenne. We learned so much about the historic center of Lima. We had previously walked around on our own but her tour explained so much we had no idea about. She was very interactive full of history and knowledge of all different types of things pertaining to Lima. Also very flexible and allowed us to do and see certain things that were not on the agenda. We felt after the tour with a good over view of Lima. I would highly recommend her

Perfect in so many ways. It is hard to fully explain & give credit to Jenni for her conduct, professionalism from first contact through to dropping us off. Fast, clear & Friendly communications from the very beginning. We were 100% safe & comfortable with an expert local guide with superb language skill, and a driver in an immaculate modern car. Jenni arranged the tour to our specifications and desires with apparent ease and pleasure, giving s a chance to experience the history of the area, of which she seemed to have an encyclopedic knowledge, and allowed us the time we needed at every juncture to feel as if we got the very best experience for our own individual choices. Nothing felt as if it was following any form of script or predesignated time scale or structure, but that it was flexible enough for us to immerse ourselves in each aspect of the trip until we were fully satisfied. Just one example of this was that we heard of a water fountain show in the evening. Jenni & the driver were content to extend our day to include this, with Jenni being kind enough to pay our entrance fee in order to save us credit card charges. On top of this, her personal knowledge of the water park and the show itself, meant she could walk us through the water features, with a huge amount of laughter, before finding us the perfect spot to get the most out of the show itself, explaining the historical and social issues that the show illustrated. Whenever we bumped into fellow tourists, we were given chance to socialise which became far more important to note when the people we were talking to were rushed on by their guides. The diffence between the two was stark and obvious and did een more to highlight just what an exceptional tour guide we were fortunate to have. The culinary delights of Peru are something the country is rightly proud of and Jenni did as much as possible to educate us in this before even suggesting a food stop. My wife & I can be described as awkward to please with food since we tend to opt for very different styles of dining experience. But this, like so many other things, was no problem to Jenni, thanks again to her specific local and national knowledge, and she succesfully found us some excellent places to eat and taste foods very different to our normal cuisine. Naturally, a Pisco experience had to be made (no trip to deepest darkest Peru could be complete without it) and the expert guides (Jenni & Driver) helped us sample these delights in a calm and safe manner, whilst ignoring our alcohol fuelled giggles as we made our way back away from the protective care they carried us around in, to our onward transport. At the start of the booking process, we looked for a guide to help us get the best out of our stay in Lima. We never felt like we were with a guide, it felt more like an experience with a good friend who really cared for us as people rather than tourists

Jenni was great!!! She helped customize our tour, very well answered every question we had, was easy to understand, flexible, very knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and she went above and beyond to significantly help with an issue with our cruise line tour to follow...she made sure we got there through much confusion meeting up, on part of our cruise line. We are going out with her again tomorrow!

This was a very good tour for seeing the highlights of Lima. We went to the old town, the city squares, and a very large archeological sight that dated back to the 1500’s. We also saw the changing of the guards, and the cathedral. The van was perfect for our group of 8 adults and Jenni was a very knowledgeable guide.

We had a great time! Lima was amazing.
