Exploring Lima by night is without a doubt a total different experience and plus if the place that we'll visit is the largest water-fountain complex ever built in a city park. This place used to be known around a century ago as the Parque de la Reserva since during the War of the Pacific, which involved Peru and Chile, the Peruvian reservists ( soldiers ) were trained on several military tactics here. Today, it's considered one iconic Lima top tourist attraction not only for the amazing water fountains but also for its gardens, statues, sculptures and the fabulous and colorful light show.
This was the 2nd tour in the day that we had with Abel. He found me a perfect spot to see the Water Fountain show then we went to dinner in a wonderful old house. Abel is a great guide. Very knowledgeable and able to adjust to the situation. We encountered protestors and a very large crowd going to a concert but we missed out on nothing. Thank you again Abel. I strongly recommend this guide.
We had a fun tour with Abel at the Dancing Water water park and a great chicken dinner afterward. Even fighting Harry Stiles concert traffic, Abel was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He even got a wheelchair for my husband who has mobility issues at the water park and pushed him around to see everything. Highly recommend Abel!
You will be picked up from your hotel at 6. 00 pm ( Hotels at Miraflores, San isidro and Barranco ony ) for airport & cruise port pick-up ask before booking please ) You'll be taken to the Magic circuit of water opened to the public in 2007 and located at the Park of the Reserve ( 09 hectares or 20 acres of area ) We'll admire more than 10 water fountains whch have diverse names like the Rainbow fountain, the water pyramid, the walk-in water tunnel, the fountain of Magic, and above all the Fountain of Fantasy where we will watch the light show where the Peruvian history is told thru music and images ( it lasts around 20 minutes ) The itinerary can be adapted to traveller's interests
