Hi there !!! My name's Abel, I'm considered one of the top tour guides based in Lima. I'm multilingual ( I can speak American English, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and German ) I consider that guiding visitors is not only my full-time job but also one of my greatest passions . I've been immersed in the fascinating world of history, archaeology, culture and traditions since I was a child and one of my personal aims is to keep my own culture and identity alive for my coming generations . I must thank my parents who were involved in education as high-school teachers. They passed me their knowledge and curiosity for exploring and investigating more and more about my country. My dad was a History and Geography teacher, whereas my mom was a Spanish-language grammar teacher. I would be more than happy to have you guys as my guests during your stay in Lima and the nearby areas such as Caral, Paracas, and the Nazca, I can arrange tours to those areas too. As I said lines above I'm FLUENT in multiple languages like English ( I lived in the state of NM, USA ) , French, Portuguese, Italian and German ( Ich habe das Goethe Institut B1 Zertifikat ) . I am LICENSED and AUTHORIZED to work as a tour guide by the Peruvian Ministry of Tourism ( MINCETUR ) which is our official national entity. I am mainly focused on doing tours in Lima, just feel to ask me for any customized tour. From the dockside you'll need to take the free shuttle bus offered by the Callao port authorities for cruise passengers that brings you guys to the gate or meeting point.
