Hi there !!! My name's Abel, I'm considered one of the top tour guides based in Lima. I'm multilingual ( I can speak American English, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and German ) I consider that guiding visitors is not only my full-time job but also one of my greatest passions . So in this inhospitable and harsh are, the Spanish conquistador, Francisco Pizarro decided to found Lima to be Peru's capital ( formerly a viceroyalty ) thanks to its proximity to the Pacific ocean and a former fertile valley crossed by the Rimac river.
⭐️Abel gave us a wonderful day in Lima!⭐️ He is incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and culture, and made every stop interesting and engaging. We loved the delicious lunch, and having private transport made everything so easy and convenient. The tour was conducted in French and was perfectly clear throughout. He speaks multiple languages…. Abel was a great guide! Very professional and personable. He took us to many important sites in Lima and explained the history and significance. He also showed us best photographic vantage points. We discussed cultural issues, and he was very informative about Peruvian customs. He had a great personality and we enjoyed his company. He took us to a great chicken restaurant. Our driver Marcos was very competent and friendly. We highly recommend Abel as a guide!

We had a great tour with Abel. His English is excellent, he is extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We liked the fact that he had a driver so he could concentrate on being a tour guide instead of a driver, as traffic in Lima is very bad. The vehicle was very comfortable. He also brought us to a restaurant that had the best ceviche I have ever had! It was a really wonderful way to see and learn about Lima with a really interesting and wonderful person.
Our guide, Abel, put together this tour to best meet our schedule and accommodate what we wanted to see and do for our first visit to Lima. He was prompt, very courteous, and attentive to our needs. This and with the wonderful sites of the city all made this a perfect day. Highly recommend for your introduction to Lima.
Pick-up time at 09. 00 a. m at your hotel lobby ( Hotels at San Isidro, Miraflores or Barranco ) For airport & cruise port pick-up ask before booking please We'll start the tour heading to the historic center of Lima where we'll drive around the Park of the Exhibition built in 1872 to host an international event. Next, we'll drive and stop at San Martin plaza surrounded by beautiful colonial buildings and then we'll head to Lima's main plaza known as the Square of Arms which is surrounded by the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral of St John the Evangelist where the founder of Lima is buried , the Archbishop's Palace and the City Hall. We are visiting the monastery of St. Francis of Assis famous for its catacombs. Then, we are taking a break for having lunch at a local food restaurant ( not included ) After that, we'll cover two modern areas of Lima called San Isidro and Miraflores. The itinerary can be adapted to traveller's interests: do not hesitate to contact me for a customized experience.
