This is a tour highly advisable for those people who are passionate about history, archaeology and ancient ruins not only of the famous Incas but also of Pre-Incan cultures because this archaological compound located on the peruvian central coast called PACHACAMAC ( Quechua-language term meaning the creator of the world ) , was home to 04 different civilizations that over the centuries built and left various temples in an area of around 1, 150 acres. These ruins are located at about 33 km (20 miles) south of Lima on the right margin of the Lurin River and shows a particular contrast of landscapes going from the coastal desert, the Pacific ocean coastline and the green and fertile Lurin-river valley. But before we head to Pachacamc, we'll have a scenic drive around the waterfront of Chorrillos to admire views over the bay area of Lima. When we get to Pachacamac, we mainly driving around the ruins, we'll make for picture stops

Abel was very prompt in meeting us with a car and driver. We asked about making a different stop which he adjusted to our needs. Also, he suggested a stop at the kissing statue. We were unaware of this statue. He explained the area very well. The horse show and meal on the tour was very good. I would highly recommend Abel as a guide.

What a great guide! We spend two days together visiting Lima and the Pachacamac. Abel knows all the details about Peruvian history. But he is also very open for discussions about politics, economics and today living in Peru/Lima. As a matter of course, Abel adjusted the tour to our needs. Abel planned a wonderful day of touring for our group while visiting Lima. We could not have asked for a better guide! He picked us up at the port gate and we rode in a luxury vehicle with AC as we toured the countryside on our way to Pachacamac ruins. Your Lima tour itinerary
Pick-up at 09. 00 am at your hotel lobby ( hotels at San Isidro, Miraflores or Barranco only, for airport & cruise port pick-up ask before booking please ) Scenic drive to the waterfront of Chorrillos located to the south of Lima Drive to the archaeological sanctuary of Pachacamac located 26 miles ( 33 km ) south of Lima. Visit of the site museum where the Idol ( Totem ) of the god Pachacamac and the original entrance door to his temple are kept. Drive around the ruins to admire the pyramid with ramp N° 1, the Sun and Moon temples, the Taurichumpi palace and the remains of the Painted temple where the carved two-head totem of the god Pachacamac was found. We'll make some stops to take photos Finally, we'll drive you back to your hotel The itinerary can be adapted to traveller's interests.
