This tour is specially designed for the traveler that dreams to discover the highlights of Lima throughout its history and explained by a local guide (yours truly) born and raised. Lima, La Ciudad de los Reyes, capital city of Peru, today, but it's history goes way before the Spanish Kingdom ruled over this territories, a land that was occupied by different natives groups, they all left evidence of their great cultures, until the 16th century. As a native descendant I have a very deep connection with this ancient culture and will love to show you their legacy. An ancient pre-inca temple, a panoramic view of Lima's seashore, beautiful mansions from the early 1900's, the colonial main square and many more is what we are going to admire in this visit!

Renzo provided an excellent day custom experience for us in Lima. His English is excellent and his knowledge of history and Larco Museum archeology was amazing . We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the neighborhoods of Lima with Renzo. His local connections and knowledge was invaluable, especially as he helped us navigate through some challenges posed by some road and attraction closures. It was wonderful to experience the diversity of several areas of the city and to hear about the history of each of these areas. The highlight of the day was the Larco Museum. His knowledge of the specific exhibits was amazing and gave us a great understanding of the ancient cultures.
Renzo is a fabulous tour guide and we highly recommend him for those wishing to take the half-day city tour that we took. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. We enjoyed the combination of an hour long walking tour and a ride around the city, ending at Love Park in Miraflores. Renzo knows his history—we learned a lot and were privileged to visit the city on its 488th anniversary of its founding. We felt very safe with Renzo as our guide.

For the second part of the tour we'll visit Lima's historic colonial area UNESCO's World Heritage to admire the beautiful architecture of colonial and constitutional time of Peru. This tour includes a visit to the museum of Saint Domingo Monastery and Belfry.
