Lima - The City of Kings Tour

This tour is specially designed for the traveler that dreams to discover the highlights of Lima throughout its history and explained by a local guide (yours truly) born and raised. Lima, La Ciudad de los Reyes, capital city of Peru, today, but it's history goes way before the Spanish Kingdom ruled over this territories, a land that was occupied by different natives groups, they all left evidence of their great cultures, until the 16th century. As a native descendant I have a very deep connection with this ancient culture and will love to show you their legacy. An ancient pre-inca temple, a panoramic view of Lima's seashore, beautiful mansions from the early 1900's, the colonial main square and many more is what we are going to admire in this visit!

Pick up from the hotel, apartment, house or coordinated address. In this first part of the tour we'll visit the southern historic districts Miraflores and San Isidro including their respective highlights (Park of Love, Temple Huaca Pucllana, Olive-Tree Grove). For the second part of the tour we'll visit Lima's historic colonial area UNESCO's World Heritage to admire the beautiful architecture of colonial and constitutional time of Peru. This tour includes a visit to the museum of Saint Domingo Monastery and Belfry.
