Flavors of Lima and Cultural Overview

Our tour starts by visiting a peruvian traditional local market, a place where locals go to everyday to get their groceries and basic supplies. In the market, we will walk by some stands where people sell fruits , beef , fish and chicken; all these products are on display (visiting a traditional market is one of the best ways to witness local people's everyday life). Here, we will also be tasting some peruvian natives fruits and get a general idea of the products that peruvians use for their usual meals. After that, we'll go to a local restaurant with a nice oceanview to test your cooking skills by observing and participating in the process of making some of our most important traditional dishes as well as our national drink. Then we will have lunch In the afternoon, we will have a city tour so we will visit Lima City Highlights; that includes: downtown Lima Historic Center and Miraflores Neighbourhood Our tour ends at your accommodation or in a place of your choice.

First , we visit a local market where we will taste traditional fruits from our country. After that , we go to a local nice traditional restaurant to learn how make some of our most important and traditional peruvian dishes such as Ceviche and Causa Limeña, also, we will learn to prepare our traditional and national drink : Pisco Sour Then we have lunch in front of the sea. In the afternoon , we visit Downtown Lima Historic center as well as Miraflores neighbourhood. In the old town , we will take a walk around its main streets sharing some interesting stories and facts of our old city from colonial days. Also, we will take a visit to the San Francisco Church and Monastery , a place very famous for its underground crypts that are open to the public. Finally, we will visit our main Square (Plaza de Armas in spanish)to get a panoramic view of its most important buildings including the Presidential House, The Main Cathedral, The City Hall and the Archbishop Palace. Our tour ends at your place.
