Overview of your Lima tour
If you have little time in Lima and you don't know what to do, booking this tour would allow you to get to know the best of the city in a safe and fun way. Lima's Historic Centre was proclaimed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, and ever since then it has become the city's main tourist attraction. On this visit we'll observe incredible places such as Plaza San Martin, El Gran Hotel Bolivar, Iglesia de la Merced, Plaza Mayor de Lima, among others. In addition, we'll visit the House of Literature, a very emblematic place in tribute to Mario Vargas Llosa, Peruvian writer, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. It should be noted that this place was an old train station that about 30 years ago was the most popular train stop according to what my own relatives told me! In addition to these visits, we will do a Pisco Tasting! If you booked on any day of the week except Mondays, we could also visit Peru's National Bank Museum!
Your Lima tour itinerary
·We'll begin this tour with a pickup from an agreed upon point, from where we'll head to Plaza San Martin. ·Afterwards, we'll enter to the Gran Hotel Bolivar. ·Next, we'll walk along famous Jirón de la Unión street towards La Merced Church. ·One block ahead, we'll get to see the beautiful facade of Courret House. ·We'll then walk a couple of steps forward to reach Plaza Mayor, Lima's main square. ·Then, we'll visit the National Bank Museum. ·A left turn will visit the Santo Domingos Church. ·Next, we'll see the House of Peruvian Literature which is just a couple of blocks from there. ·We'll end our tour with a visit to the Crafts market and enjoy a Pisco tasting! If you want to visit the cathedral the entrance is by your own.
