Hi! I am Sandra, and I'm a local guide who has been taking travelers on sightseeing tours of Lima, Peru, since 2001. I love my job! What makes my job so special, you ask? Well, first of all, I like the history of my country. We are blessed with such a rich heritage and fantastic history; I couldn't ask for a better story to tell! Sandra really knew Lima, its history, the Inca element, the neighborhoods, and was able to expound on everything from culture to Peru’s political system! We were impressed! Our driver was great and Sandra made our one day in Lima a really great experience!
Sandra really took special care of us—6 people including 2 teenagers. She arranged for a very nice van and driver( driver was very safe —a plus for hectic Lima traffic and some tricky hill roads). We experienced the historic district —-Sandra was great at pointing out details. Lunch restaurant selection was perfect for our group—right off the square. Sandra even arranged for a visit to a historic home that is relatively unknown to tourists—a real find.

During this 5 hours tour you can see the highlights of Lima, places such as: Miraflores, the touristic part of Lima where you can see The Park of Love, Huaca Pucllana Pre-Inca site built 900 years before Machu Picchu. Then, Surquillo Local Market. Then, Lima Downtown where the historical places are located, to see San Martin Plaza, Union Street, Main Square, Goverment Palace, Cathedral, San Francisco Church. If you can visit the cathedral or the Catacombs (entrance is by your own). The itinerary can be adapted to traveller's interests: do not hesitate to contact me for a customized tour.
