Given the hectic traffic and confusion of a city with few thorough, having a knowledgeable guide and driver gave me a one-day experience that I couldn't have done in three days by myself. Jorge was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to adapt the tour to my particular interests. I learned so much about the city and its culture and the visit to a food market and fine restaurant with several one-on-one food experiences were delightful. I highly recommend Jorge!!!
Jorge was probably one of the best Tours by Locals I have ever toured with...our tour was exactly what we were looking for in a food tour of the city...Jorge took us to wonderful places to taste the most authentic foods of Lima...it was a very special day...he was patient, knowledgable and had a wonderful personality...everything was perfect...cannot wait to come back to Lima to tour with Jorge again...thank you...
We really enjoyed this special tour. Having a restaurant close it's doors so they can teach 2 people how to make Causa de Pollo, Ceviche, and Pisco Sours was a very great feeling. The chef and crew had all of the ingredients in place and made it very easy for us to follow and learn. Our guide Jorge was very excited to show us around his city and give us a taste of the food and the history of Peru. The only downside was the terrible traffic in the city center. Luckily, we also had a driver who concentrated on the road while Jorge gave us a lot of information. Good job all around. I highly recommend this tour.
