Guide #71504
Hello and welcome to Tokyo! I have been working for the business with American companies for many years, and have many experiences guiding customers from all over the world in Japan and taking Japanese customers to the USA and Europe. I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter, and want to introduce the unique gigantic city of Tokyo and the Japanese traditional culture, which is not shown in the guidebooks, to people worldwide who are interested in it. In addition, I want to introduce various Japanese foods you can enjoy only in Japan. Unique experiences such as the Sumo Training Viewing and Tea Ceremony are optionally available. Depending on your preference and itinerary, I can guide you in Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone so that you can enjoy your time in Japan.

Atsushi is an energetic licensed guide and is very knowledgeable regarding Japanese culture and history. He answered many of our questions so we came away informed on Japan's...
We greatly enjoyed our first tour of Tokyo. Our host (Atsushi) and guide immensely help our understanding of the city and its culture. We enjoyed the whole day and so glad we decided on choosing this tour and guide. I will definitely use Tours by Locals again on our many future adventures

In spite of a cold, rainy day, we had a very good tour of Hakone and some immediate areas. Our guide, Atsushi, was excellent. He gave us the background of this lovely area known for its hot springs and wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. Due to the weather we were not able to see it, hidden behind the clouds. Furthermore, the last part of the trip - riding down the mountain...

I am delighted to know that you enjoyed the Hakone tour despite the bad weather. I wanted to enjoy viewing Mt. Fuji, but perhaps you can come back to Japan again to enjoy it.
