Hello and welcome to Tokyo! I have been working for the business with American companies for many years, and have many experiences guiding customers from all over the world in Japan and taking Japanese customers to the USA and Europe. I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter, and want to introduce the unique gigantic city of Tokyo and the Japanese traditional culture, which is not shown in the guidebooks, to people worldwide who are interested in it. In addition, I want to introduce various Japanese foods you can enjoy only in Japan. Unique experiences such as the Sumo Training Viewing and Tea Ceremony are optionally available. Depending on your preference and itinerary, I can guide you in Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone so that you can enjoy your time in Japan.

Kamakura was the capital of Japan from the late 12th century until the Heian period in Kyoto. You can enjoy the Samurai-period temples and shrines together with the Big Buddha. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn Buddhism and Shinto, which are important backgrounds of Japanese culture. A combination with my One-day Tokyo tour is also recommended. If you wish to personalize this tour according to your preferences, please do not hesitate to contact me!
I will pick you up at your hotel located in the central part of Tokyo and take you to the train station for Kamakura. My recommended sites in Kamakura are: - The Great Buddha Statue - The Hase temple: Lovely garden and the golden Kannon statue - Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine: One of the most significant shrines in Kanagawa Prefecture - The Hotokuji Temple: Famous for its pretty bamboo forest and tea house. From Kamakura, train ride back to Tokyo

To go from Tokyo to Kamakura, and back, we will use the train. Japan is well organized in its public transportation, including the train. I recommend you obtain a "SUICA IC Card," which can be used for almost all transportation in Japan, including convenience stores. If you can't get it beforehand, I will help you when I see you.
