Hello ! Buongiorno ! I was always attracted by the Beauty of the city, especially the Renaissance time and that was one of the main reason to decide and to realize a dream, to study Art conservation in Florence - in one of the most beautiful cities in the world ! Thanks to my profession as an Conservator of Paintings I had the chance to get in touch and come closer to the most beautiful artworks made during the Renaissance Time. I became a licensed tour guide of Florence in 2007 and have been showing the amazing sights to visitors from all over the world with humor and enthusiasm. Whether it is your first visit, or its your second or third time in Florence, whether you're interested in the major sights, or exploring specific neighborhoods, I will be happy to create a customized route that will be enjoyable and rewarding. The proposed guided tours are only examples of possible walking tours. For customized itineraries I invite you to contact me to design your own special guided private tour. Registered licensed tour guide since 2007 Diploma in art restoration of paintings and sculptures - 1995 I am not a driver but I can arrange for a private car with a driver. The drivers with whom I collaborate are safe, reliable and puntual and speak fluent english.

Christiane was friendly and highly knowledgeable about the gallery, the paintings within it, and added some very unique information from the art restoration world. What a treat to visit the Uffizi with Christiane. While my husband and I had both been fortunate enough to visit this museum before, we leaned so much and had a wonderful time. We wouldn’t hesitate to book a tour with her again.

Extremely interesting, with the recurring theme that today's masterpieces were often not recognized as such in their own time. A wonderfully cautionary tale about sneering at our own contemporary avante guarde art that, perhaps, will also stand the test of time. And we loved her insight about how many restorations have actually distorted the original piece. Bravo...
