Buongiorno!!! I was born with an innate love for art and history. As a little girl, I adored looking at the many art books my grandfather owned and dreamt of being in those places. After finishing high school I wanted to follow my passion of studying fine arts and I became a textile designer. My life journey led me to Florence, Italy, where I went to study the beautiful Italian language. Spending time in Florence, learning the language, the culture, the people, the customs, the history, the fashion all made me fall in love with Florence and Italy. Like they say " I left my heart in Florence" ❣ While I was there I found the Italian culture to be very similar to the culture of my own country, Bulgaria. That helped me make my final decision to stay in Florence to continue my exploration of all that is Italian. I was privileged to be employed by well-known designer houses in Florence. While working in the fashion industry I never forgot my passion for the fine arts. During my free time, I loved to explore the rich Italian history and architecture. I loved walking the beautiful narrow streets of Florence with my Cavalier King dog - Junior. We both admired the breathtaking architecture around the city on both sides of the Arno River. I love architecture, it stimulates my hungry brain and is food for my soul. On those walks, I started learning and researching the unique and diverse collection of architectural buildings in Florence. All that beauty led me to further educate myself to become a professional tourist guide. I am extremely happy that my work incorporates the things I love the most: art, history, and fashion. It is my pleasure to create tours that will create unforgettable moments for you during your visit in beautiful Florence and to share this city with you during your stay!! Overview of your Florence tour

My tour can be fully customized but imagine how much fun it would be if you got to start with a museum, then walk through a marvelous palazzo from 1200, then stop for coffee in a little coffee bar, then wander on to visit a beautiful church. Then you might be hungry and I will take you to a special Florentine restaurant away from tourists to make you experience simple, delicious, home-cooked Italian food. Freshly nourished, we will wonder on to have a stroll along the banks of the Arno, a hidden place with beautiful views. Ice cream might sound perfect at this moment and then we segue into another museum for a bit of mind-blowingly beautiful art. Then I would want to take you for aperitivo to a gorgeous garden. This list of possibilities is simply a taste of what a day with me could be like. My tours won't be a lecture but the storytelling of the history of Florence and the lives of the most intriguing families with juicy details and a little gossip. I can't wait to hear from you to get the planning started.

Ghergana did a great job with this tour. She showed a lot of flexibility and adaptability as our interests changed from the time of book to the actual tour. Her joy of art and architecture and her beautiful city (Florence) were infectious and we learned a lot in a fun way! The Best tour on our trip. Florence is simply amazing and looks almost unreal. Seeing David was the highlight of the trip. We also made it to a great local sandwich shop. It was an amazing trip!!!

She saved our bacon. Strikes had closed the museums at just the times we booked. She was able th hunt down a place we could get last minute tickets for an open time. Thus we were able to see David which we could not have otherwise. Overall a delightful tour of the city so rich in history which she knows well. Our visit was enriched by her company and skill.
