Food & Wine Walking Tour in Florence, Italy

Join me for an unforgettable culinary adventure in Florence, where we'll take a stroll through the city, immersing ourselves in the authentic flavors of Tuscan cuisine. Get ready to indulge your senses and discover the hidden gems of this beautiful city. As we stroll along the cobblestone streets, I will take you to meet local shop owners, butchers, and fishermen. We will indulge in their local specialties with the freshest, seasonal, local ingredients. During this tour, you will get a taste of what it is like to live in Florence! You'll enjoy everything from sweet to savory tastings, hand-picked just for you! The tour includes tastings at 5-6 local shops, including a glass of wine. If guests do not drink wine it can be substituted for a soda, sparkling, or still water. If you have personal dietary requests please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. ·Our culinary journey begins in a charming local neighborhood just outside the bustling city center in Sant' Ambrogio. Here, we'll experience the true Italian coffee culture as we join the locals for a cup of rich, aromatic espresso, prepared the traditional Italian way. ·Next, we'll make our way to a vibrant open-air market, Mercato Sant'Ambrogio, brimming with colorful stalls and a lively atmosphere. Immerse yourself in the bustling ambiance as we meet local fishermen and butchers, who will share their passion for fresh, local ingredients. Here we will try some of the street food that Florence is famous for! ·During our tour, we will stop at a combination of 5-6 historical shops, family-owned boutiques and/or markets, each with its own fascinating story to tell. Our tastings will include local sweets such as Cantucci, pastries, street food, schiacciatta with pork and truffle, wine, gelato, and more!
