Hello ! Buongiorno ! I was always attracted by the Beauty of the city, especially the Renaissance time and that was one of the main reason to decide and to realize a dream, to study Art conservation in Florence - in one of the most beautiful cities in the world ! Thanks to my profession as an Conservator of Paintings I had the chance to get in touch and come closer to the most beautiful artworks made during the Renaissance Time. I became a licensed tour guide of Florence in 2007 and have been showing the amazing sights to visitors from all over the world with humor and enthusiasm. Whether it is your first visit, or its your second or third time in Florence, whether you're interested in the major sights, or exploring specific neighborhoods, I will be happy to create a customized route that will be enjoyable and rewarding. The guided tour will introduce you to the historic center of the city and we will cross the most famous, beautiful and important sights of Florence such as Piazza Signoria with famous sculptures like Michelangelo's David and Cellini's Perseus with the head of Medusa; the Uffizi Gallery, the most important state museum in Italy; the Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in Florence; the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore; the Baptistery with its famous bronze doors and much, much more. . . !
Christiane was an absolutely wonderful guide. We saw a lot in a relatively short period of time. She communicated extremely well and her fund of knowledge was amazing. We have a lot of fun and learned a lot. I would highly recommend her.
There were 4 of us traveling (ages 25-85) and Christiane was just a pleasure and so easy going to be with. She took us to the main sights and explained the history of each one. She was patient and considerate of my 85 year old mother and kept a good pace that accommodated her. It was a wonderful introduction to Florence. Thank you so much.
Our guide in Florence, Christiana, is a very knowledgeable guide - we had her for a day and half. She was absolutely delightful, and helped us everywhere she could. Being an art history major and historian, we had a great time with her knowledge and the history of the art and the town.
