Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti from Florence

The day will start with a drive to Siena it will take about 1hr. We'll get into the center of the town walking. Guided tour by me at several spots in the main pedestrian area, the central square Il Campo. The incredible scene will impress you by the scenic setting of the Gov. t of Siena and its Bell Tower, the Gaia Fountain. We will than walk to the Cathedral of Siena. Elegant and imposive architecture. We may visit interiors, needs reservation on line in high season. It is rich of art, takes at least 30 min. You may have than some free time for shopping. We will drive towards San Gimignano. For the lunch we may stop at Monterigioni or at San Gimignano. Wine component on this tour can be experienced by one short stop along the way. We will enjoy 30 min walking tour in the shadow of the medieval towers. Free time to buy souvenirs or gelato, or just stay at your own pace. San Gimignano is a place where I've lived for 10 years. I believe I can offer an opportunity to join to this fundamental Tuscan experience.
