🍷Guided tour of Montepulciano,Pienza and Montalcino.

This tour was everything I had hoped it would be! Giuseppe picked us up right at our hotel in a comfortable, air conditioned van. My family of 5 had plenty of room. He took us to see 3 beautiful towns in Tuscany (Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano) that were straight out of a storybook. He gave us a quick tour and told us a little about the architecture and then let us wander. We stopped at a winery for a delicious lunch and wine pairing. We got to see the cellar there and another one at a quick stop right in the town center of Montalcino. He also stopped on the way out of town to show us a magnificent view of Florence. This was a full day and exactly what I was hoping for-a chance to see Tuscany and escape from the busy city for a day. He was a great tour guide: friendly, knowledgeable, safe driver and polite! He also gave us some dinner recs near our hotel when we returned. Don’t go all the way to Florence and miss this!! This was our favorite day of our vacation!!!

Our trip with Giuseppe was amazing!!! It was a beautiful day in late April 2026. The four of us were treated to a tour of Tuscany that we will never forget. We started with a beautiful drive through the Chianti Region with a history of this area. We made a surprise stop at Monteriggioni which was out of a story book. We headed to Pienza and a great walking tour and pecorino shopping with stops along the way for pictures. Then off to Montalcino with lunch and wine tasting at Poggio Rubino winery and a tour of the town after. Brunello is our new favorite wine! Next we toured Montepulciano and went to a wine cellar and tasted more wine. We were running late to get back to Florence (that was ok with us because we had a great time) so Giuseppe called to cancel our dinner reservations and try to get us a new one. I would highly recommend Giuseppe for this tour. His knowledge of the area and Italy in general is very extensive and his personality is the best!! The van was very comfortable and his driving was great. Have fun with Giuseppe on your next tour!!!

I enjoyed my tour of Tuscany with Giuseppe. He had a great knowledge of the area, it’s rich history, prominent families and architecture. He was also able to speak to the wine varieties and industry of the region. The lunch that he set up had breathtaking views, great Brunello wine and wonderful food. The staff gave us a great tour of the winery and their beautiful aging room. I recommend messaging Giuseppe in advance if you want an organized “tasting” in Montalpuciano. We toured the cavernous wineries but only had the tastings offered to any tourist wandering the street. If you want more wineries, articulate that ahead of time.

We spent a delightful day touring the Tuscan countryside with Giuseppe. He was very friendly, responsive to our special requests, and knows the area intimately. It was a great day! Thank you, Giuseppe!

Giuseppe is such a great guide and a wonderfull person. Very skill guide, he knows a lot of italian history. If you are coming to Florence, Giuseppe is the perfect guide to hire. I highly recomend!!

Giuseppe planned this trip for us and also gave us some free time to discover the town of Montepuliciano and also gave us some recommendations to do, after a well informed tour around the city and also around the artistic church. He is very nice and totally recommended. He waited for us with patience too :) He also planned a wine tasting experience which we will never forget! Great! 5/5
