The David and the highlights of Florence.

Dina took us on a memorable tour of Florence. Many members of my family attended the tour - she was the perfect guide for our large group. She was positive, knowledgeable and her love for her hometown is palpable. The highlight for many of us was exploring the David with her. I had seen the David a couple of times prior but it felt like a completely new experience with Dina. She went above and beyond to get us an extra ticket to the Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze which was definitely not expected but, in the end, very much appreciated. Communication from booking through the day of the tour was perfect. Highly recommend spending a day in Florence with Dina on your next visit. Dina was an excellent guide. We really enjoyed our time with her. We had a short window for visiting Florence from our cruise ship, and she helped us make the most of our time. She met us and led us on a walking tour to see all the highlights, and gave us lots of information and insight. We concluded the visit with lunch at a restaurant where she had pre-arranged a reservation. Every detail was very thoughtful.

Dina was great! Communicating with her before the tour was very easy, and she helped me plan exactly what I wanted for the time I had. Once I arrived, we were able to meet exactly as planned and then go with the flow just like a local. She helped when one of my pre-purchased tickets caused a slight confusion, making it a seamless experience for me. Her knowledge of the history of Italy and Florence in particular made the galleries and city unforgettable. She showed me local finds like the real market, local artisans, and even helped me find a Dr. Pepper!! I thoroughly enjoyed walking Florence like a local and getting a feel for the city so that I felt confident continuing to explore on my own afterwards. Thanks, Dina!!

Dina was wonderful! Not only knowledgeable about Florence and its history, but she was so accommodating to my family. There were many mix-ups (our fault!) with traffic and parking and the last minute need for a wheelchair, but Dina handled them with efficiency and grace. She also made a great restaurant recommendation. My family had a wonderful, whirlwind day in Florence thanks to Dina!

Dina was recently our guide in Florence, and was both interesting and extremely knowledgeable. We toured the Uffizi and the Accedemia where Dina very selectively guided us through the chronology of important artists and how the art evolved. Her acumen in addition to her ability to articulate the key elements to focus upon made the whole process very enjoyable. In particular, her description of the David at the Accedemia and it's relationship to the unfinished works was particularly memorable.
