Originally from South Louisiana but I've lived in Europe for over 24 years. I have worked as a private tour guide for fifteen of those years showing traveler's my love and passion for Bavaria, Italy, and Austria. July 11th at 9:00 a.m.  transportation to Augsburg (oldest city this side of Alps) - for walking tour hosted by a local and free time for shopping. Continue on to Munich in the afternoon for hotel check in and evening walking tour of the city hosted by me.

July 12th - 9:00 a.m. Dachau Memorial Tour with local guide  - that afternoon we will see BMW World
July 13th depart for Neuschwanstein castle (8:00 a.m.) with ticketing, tour, and Ehrenburg bridge for the kids afterwards before drive down the Fernpass to Innsbruck for hotel check in and walking tour of the city hosted by me.
July 14th 9:00 a.m. departure for Swarovski Crystal World at Wattens, then over to Ambras Palace for tour of Ferdinand's Oddities, largest Baroque collection of armor in the world, and more. The afternoon would be free time for everyone once returning to the city
 July 15th - 9:00 a.m. Transportation to Zurich for hotel drop off with stop in Rorschach for lunch.

Multi-Day Trip

Neuschwanstein Castle is wrapped in mystery and beauty. The dream of the former Wittelsbach king, Ludwig II, the castle is not only gorgeous but the perfect place to explore the mystery of Ludwig's untimely demise, a story filled with mystery and questions.

I love telling this tale and start when we exit the Mercedes at the castle and talk until we get back! By the time you get back to the van, you will know why Bavarian's wear Lederhosen, why Neuschwanstein was built, who was Lola Montez, and how Bavaria became a Communist state! Plus, I hope you can help me figure out how Ludwig II died, 'cause I don't know!

After our Castle tour we make our way to the city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen where we will discuss the history of Frei Korps, National Socialism, the 1936 Winter Olympics, and so much more. 


Historical Tour of Neuschwanstein Castle and Garmisch-Partenkirchen

I love Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is my home and source of constant inspiration. I would love to take you to my favorite beer garden to discuss the birth of the Freicorps while enjoying a beverage then wander through town to see the paintings on the buildings and my favorite chocolate shop.

This is an amazing city that sits at the heart of a historical European trade route of the Middle Ages creating a rich and unique backdrop for our leisurely stroll. In more modern times, the influence of the Nazi party, the American occupation in the late '40s, and the G7 Summit have impacted the attitude and culture of this valley paradise.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen holds an abundance of stories, history, and unique sights that I would love to show you.
