Join me in my adopted home of Garmisch-Partenkirchen where we will use the Zugspitze cable car to whisk us to the peak of Germany's tallest mountain. Stunning views, amazing history, and the opportunity to visit two countries, and see up to five await! I love taking people to the peak of this mountain and riding the record-holding cable car is as exciting as it sounds! After sightseeing, photos, time for snow sledding, and more we make our way down into the valley for lunch and a walking tour of Garmisch with a stop at my favorite chocolate shop for free samples. When ready we leisurely make our way back to your hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or the train station.
Jake gave us a truly memorable day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Zugspitze! We were able to experience the majestic views from the peak of the Zugspitze in all directions— truly breathtaking! Afterward, we toured the towns of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, enlightened by Jake's knowledge of the historical significance of these beautiful, charming towns. He tailored the experience to our interests and made the day memorable for all.
Excellent tour with added sight seeing experience suggestions for additional days we were staying in Garmish-Partinkerchen, all of which we took up. Jake's knowledge of the area and "hidden" treasures of the history was an added bonus. The scenery speaks for itself - a must do for anyone holidaying in this area.

Jake is an amazing tour guide. He picked us up at the Hotel Zugspitze for an enjoyable trip and tour of the Zugspitze. Jake gets you involved in his history lessons and holds your attention during the whole tour. I highly recommend this tour and Jake.
The day long trip was really fun and informative . Jake is extremely knowledgeable of the history , culture and economy of the Munich area . He shared numerous details and stories as we worked our way up to Zugspitze . The scenery was amazing , awesome views in all directions . The quaint village of G-P was beautiful and full of history going back centuries . Highly recommend this tour and Jake for any tour he offers .
