I was born, raised and educated in Santiago. Studied and graduated at University of Chile in 1991 as a Former State English Tecaher as second language. Working as a Tour Guide since 1988, I do enjoy touring visitors around Chile, because; this is a great place to visit, with wonderful and unique landscapes, exquisite local meals and a very friendly culture. I'm a graduated teacher of English as a foreign language, from the University of Chile. attended seminars on Chilean Economy in Universidad del Desarrollo, Universidad Adolfo Ibañes and Banco Central de Chile. Juan Carlos stepped in to help out a fellow guide who was no longer able to lead our tour, but Juan Carlos was terrific. We were unsure about the drive from Santiago to Valle Nevado because of the winter road closures and 39+ switchbacks, but Juan Carlos was a great driver. We were very appreciative of Victor Hugo’s communication and attention to detail. When he became unable to lead our tour he found a replacement who was a wonderful person and great guide and met all of our needs. Victor Hugo continued to follow up with me when we were with his replacement and even followed up after our tour was over to make sure everything worked out...

We booked a tour with Victor Hugo to drive us to the oldest wine region in Chile — 25km south of Santiago, hugging the foothills of the Andes. We visited 3 Maipo Alto subzone wineries (El Principal, Haras de Pirque, and Aquitania) all at 600–800m elevation. These were specific places we requested but Victor can take you to any winery.
