Many of my family members lived outside of Chile, so trips and tours have always been part of my life, and I developed a personal interest about both the world and other countries since I was a child. When I studied journalism in college, I was able to explore a little bit more about our history and the reasons behind our development, those that led Chile to be the way it is, and me the way I am. But these studies also gave me the initiative to travel and explore on my own. I love sharing part of my time visiting places abroad, and and showing the places and activities that travelers want to visit in Chile! In a country with a large selection of landscapes and cultures, most of the trips start or finish in Santiago, a place that can used as a starting point for many day tours or activities too. I can assure you that with my 25 years of experience as a tour guide and a host to foreign travelers in Chile, this truly is a place that you can visit, learn, and enjoy. That is something that still happens to me and I would like to share why! Journalism in UDP University Tour Guide Diploma - Universidad de Chile Wine Tourism Diploma - UTC University Sommelier Academy Level 1 and 2 Certified Tour Guide Registered in National Tourism Service SERNATUR Member of Santiago's Professional Tour Guide Association APGT Chilean Red Cross First Aid Certification Courses and updates in Latin American Archeology and Arts in Precolumbian Art Museum Courses and updates in History, Architecture and Heritage in National Historical Museum 25 years working as tour guide in Chile and its wine industry. To offer the best security and quality standards, I don´t drive in my tours. So I always include an appropriate vehicle with a driver to meet tour requirements.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Santiago with Jean. He is thoughtful, and caring. He is very knowledgeable about Santiago and Chilean culture and history. As an added bonus, Jean is a wine expert!!! It started when Jean picked us up from our cruise ship in Santiago. Jean arranged for a van to accommodate all of luggage and came with a dedicated driver, Jose Manuel. ...

Jean was an excellent guide for my tour of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. He picked me up right at the port in San Antonio and communicated clearly in advance via WhatsApp, making him easy to find even in a very busy port. I especially appreciated that he arranged for a driver so he could focus fully on sharing detailed commentary during the drive—his insights into the...

Wow, where to begin? I scheduled Jean for a 4 hour walking tour as soon as I landed in Santiago. That was a great idea because I got the overview of the city the first day and say all the places (museums, etc.) that I may want to visit the following days. Jean's English is excellent. He is also a walking Encyclopedia Britanica, for people my age, or wikipedia for...

Jean-Albert, along with a highly skilled driver, took us from Santiago to Valparaiso with a stop at a lovely winery along the way. He provided stories of the country's history along the way and as he took us through Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. We stopped at a nice restaurant with a great view of the Valparaiso harbor and wandered some streets to see the street murals. ...
