Guide #57240
I first started my guiding career in the Patagonian port city of Punta Arenas back in 2016. Nowadays, I specialize in guiding around Chile's capital city, Santiago, focusing on our local food due to my background as a professional chef after working in restaurants and hotels in my 15 years of living in the USA, and letting you appreciate our exquisite wine with in-depth knowledge of the best vineyards surrounding Santiago and the central valleys, such as Casablanca, Maipo and Colchagua. Whether you're seeking to enjoy some of the better known vineyards or are looking for a hand-crafted day at Chile's most exclusive wineries, trust me to know the perfect option for you! I really enjoy showing people the natural beauty, history, and local culture of Santiago so you have the opportunity to see it and perceive it as a local and, through that, connect with you in order to exchange experiences. ·7 years of experience as a Tour Guide in Santiago de Chile and its surroundings such as the port city of Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & wine Valleys. ·Graduated from the INACAP Culinary Institute with a minor in International Cuisine (was the best of my class!). ·Certified as a Community Interpreter in the National Qualified Certification Program for Business, Health, Education, and Human Services at Cross-Cultural Communications, Columbia, Maryland-USA. ·Currently partaking in first aid course at the Chilean Red Cross. I will not be driving in my tours, but I'll be able to provide a hired driver in a vehicle if necessary.

Evelyn is truly the BEST! We had a wonderful day in the Maipo Valley. Evelyn shared so much knowledge with us and we learned even more during the fascinating wine tours. Mrs. Claudia, thanks so much for your kind words, happy to be part of your amazing experience here in Chile, and looking forward to see you back around this latitudes. Regards, Evelyn.
Evelyn was great. In 3 hours we got a feel for the city, history of the area and some good history on Chile. Great was to get introduced to the city. Santiago is large-- 8 million SMSA-- and until the return of democracy in 1990 some developments were restricted. There seems to be lots of good developments now and Evelyn was a font of knowledge.
